Big haircut for charity
The whole school turned out to watch Mrs Amesbury bravely change her hairstyle from a lion's mane to a beautiful bob on Monday. Sue Walsh of Sue's Salon in Simmondley gave her time to chop off our teaching assistant's locks, which she has kindly donated to The Little Princess Trust, a charity that provides real hair wigs to boys and girls across the UK and Ireland who have sadly lost their own hair through cancer treatment. Staff and families sponsored Mrs Amesbury to watch the event, for which the grand total will soon be revealed. Thank you, everyone!
