Year 4 have been doing a fantastic job in their brass lessons and they are making brilliant progress!
An assembly was recently held for parents and carers to come and see how well the children have been doing.
Photographs to follow.
Please encourage your child to practise their instrument regularly.
Studies show that people who play instruments use much more of their brain than people who don't. Music aids concentaration, aural skills, gross and fine motor skills and encourages team work when playing with more than one person.
The image below shows a brain scan demonstrating how much more of the brain is used by a musician than a non-musician.
Not only is it great for the brain but it is great fun!
